Australia Dairy and Horticulture Program (Work Permit)

The Australia Dairy & Horticulture Work Program offers international candidates the chance to gain practical experience in dairy farming and horticulture while working under a 1+1 year visa structure. With opportunities across diverse farm roles, participants will build hands-on skills in modern agricultural practices, machinery operation, and livestock/plant management while enjoying cultural exchange and professional growth.

Dairy Farm Work

Australia’s dairy farming industry is a key part of the nation’s agriculture, producing high- quality milk and dairy products for both domestic consumption and export. With major dairy regions in Victoria, Tasmania, and New South Wales, Australian farmers emphasize sustainable practices, animal welfare, and innovative technologies. The sector includes a mix of family-owned farms and larger enterprises, contributing significantly to the economy and supporting rural communities across the country.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Milking cows and managing herd health

Horticulture Work

Horticulture is one of Australia’s fastest-growing agricultural sectors, producing a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, nuts, and nursery plants. Australian horticulture is known for its clean, green, and safe produce, with strong emphasis on sustainability, export quality, and innovation in irrigation and crop management. Eligibility:

  • Candidates with horticulture trade certificates preferred

  • Minimum 1 year of agricultural experience required
